History

Totax plastic A/S is a family business with high experience. Peer Grøndahl Hansen and Palle Jørgensen founded the company.

The early production was based on industrial profiles and in 1967 the production of medical tubing was established. In this context, clean room facilities were developed in 1983. Nowadays clean room facilities are certified by DS/EN ISO 13485:2003.

In 2001 Peer Grøndahl (junior) and Erik Bjørn Rasmussen took over the management of Totax as Technical Manager and Managing Director. Since 2007 Jan Grøndahl-Hansen was Managing Director at Totax and in 2008 Peer Grøndahl Hansen died at the age of 80.

September 2010, Primo Danmark A/S took over Totax Plastic A/S. Totax will continue as subsidiary company to Primo Danmark A/S.
